Who We Are
The rapid growth of information technology has created an environment for business where there is too much data yet insufficient actionable information. In addition, there is a large and growing disconnect between the informational tools being made publicly available, and those being used by business leaders. Level1Data was formed to bridge this gap.
Level1Data is a division of Level1Analytics. Our mission is to provide hard to obtain historical, actual and predictive information to our target markets through the acquisition, conversion, integration and synthesis of select databases from business, academic and government sources. These data are oftentimes compared to our Clients’ actual databases. Our clients utilize this information to identify investment, risk management, marketing, arbitrage and other business opportunities.
Our customers currently include banks, thrifts, credit unions, mortgage banks, mortgage brokers, as well as those that work with them such as insurance companies, securities broker/dealers, loan traders, REITs, academicians, creditors and other investors. Additional markets will be added over time.
Level1Data’s research department’s staff is experienced in a variety of statistical tools and model building. Led by Dr. Thomas J. Healy, they can provide a wide range of statistical (correlation, regression, stepwise variable selection, etc) and model building services.
